  • How do I contribute to a specific project?
    If you have a specific project you would like to contribute to please use the drop down menu on the donation page or note the project title on your payment method.
  • What is Everybody Rides?
    Everybody Rides is an initative to get more kids on bikes. Complete the Bike Request Form for a kid in need of a bike. Current Bike Requests are for children ages 2-15.
  • If an Everybody Rides Request Form is filled out am I guaranteed a bike?
    If you've submitted an Everybody Rides Request Form, you will be contacted once your request is approved and FUNDED. Please note, if you fill out a request for a bike you are not guaranteed a bike. Everybody Rides is dependent on funding, timeline of project etc. Please know we’re working SUPER hard to fill bike requests.
  • What is a Bike Build?
    A Bike Build is a community event where a group, organization or individuals build bikes (with the support from our team of professionals) together to give to children on our submission list. Bike Builds are days filled with fun, learning, education, entertainment and LOVE.
  • Is your company/organization interested in sponsoring a bike build?
    We would love to partner with you! Bike builds are a fantastic option for corporate volunteer projects, team building days, and more. Bicycles built at these events can be distributed to kids on our submission list and/or distributed to children local to the sponsors. For more information CONTACT US and we can set up a build to meet your specific needs and vision.
  • What is your EIN?

  • How do I get in contact with the Bay Area Bike Project?
    We would love to hear from you! We are a small team of volunteers, but you can email info@bayareabikeproject.org and we will get back to you as quickly as we can!
  • Why is the average cost of your bikes higher than most bikes I see?
    We believe every kid should own a high quality bike. Yes, this means our bikes are more expensive BUT these bikes are easier to ride, lighter, designed with children in mind, made with high-quality componets and most importantly bikes that can be passed down to siblings/friends or another child in need of a bike and NOT end up in our landfills.
